Tamara is a classically trained pianist and accomplished musician whose passion for teaching and performance began at an early age. She started playing piano at just seven years old and quickly developed both strong technical skills and a deep love for music. By fourteen, that passion had already evolved into entrepreneurship with the launch of her first private piano studio.

Tamara holds a Bachelor of Music Education from Illinois State University (Class of 2004) and a Master of Music in Piano Pedagogy from Western Illinois University (Class of 2012). During her graduate assistantship, she authored the thesis Preventing Performance Anxiety in Beginning Pianists. She also brings over 21 years of teaching experience across a wide range of settings, from kindergarten through the collegiate level.

In addition to her teaching background, Tamara has extensive leadership experience as a former Director of Music for a large Catholic parish of approximately 4,000 parishioners. In this role, she led liturgical music, coordinated ensembles, and enhanced worship through thoughtful and engaging musical direction.

Tamara offers a variety of professional music services, including piano performance for church services, weddings, and funerals, as well as accompaniment for choirs, students, and solo musicians. With a student-centered philosophy and collaborative approach, she is committed to fostering musical growth, confidence, and artistry in every setting.
